Organic Soybean Meal 7-1-2 is an excellent source for a slow-release nitrogen; it promotes early plant development and vegetative growth.
DTE Soybean Meal provides you with an effective plant-based fertilizer for use in vegetable and flower gardens, lawns and landscapes.
The soybean used is organically grown and is GMO-free, mechanically processed to preserve the plant nutrient value.

Conversions: 2 cups = 1 lb; 1/4 cup = 2 oz; 1 Tbsp = 0.5 oz
Suggested application rates:
The objective is to ensure physical contact between the roots and the inoculated fertilizer.
Vegetable Gardens and Flower Beds
¤ New: apply 2.5 - 5 lbs per 100 sq ft and mix thoroughly into the top 3" of soil.
¤ Transplants: add 1 -2 Tbsp per hole mixing into the soil and watering well.
¤ Established: side dress 2 - 4 oz depending on size of plant and desired growth rate, once each month during grow season.
Containers and Houseplants
¤ New: apply 2 - 4 Tbsp per gallon of soil, thoroughly mix (or 2.5 - 5 lbs per cubic yard).
¤ Established: lightly mix 1 - 2 Tbsp per gallon into the soil surface, once each month during grow season.
Trees and Shrubs
¤ New: prepare transplant hole by mixing 1 - 2 cups with the back fill soil, using the amended soil to fill in around the new tree and watering well.
¤ Established: spread 1 lb per 1" trunk diameter around the base outwards to the drip line, mixing into the soil and watering well.
Three to four applications per year are recommended and results may be enhanced if applied following aeration.
¤ Spring application: apply 10 - 15 lbs per 1,000 sq ft, watering well.
¤ Summer / Fall application: apply 5 - 10 lbs per 1,000 sq ft, watering well.
