Organic Crab Meal, 4-3-0 enhances plant growth and beneficial soil microorganism populations.
Crab Meal is a by-product of the crab harvests on the West Coast and provides a wonderful source of plant nutrients for all plants.
This product has a coarse texture which is aids in improving soil aeration, drainage and overall tilth.

Conversions: 4 cups = 1 lb; 1/2 cup = 2 oz; 1 Tbsp = 0.25 oz 
Suggested application rates:
Vegetable Gardens and Flower Beds
¤ New: apply 5 lbs per 100 sq ft, thoroughly mix into the top 3" of soil.
¤ Transplants: add 1 - 2 Tbsp per hole, mix into soil and water well.
¤ Established: side dress 2 - 4 oz, depending on plant size and desired growth rate, once each month during the growing season.
Containers
¤ New: add 1 - 2 Tbsp per gallon of soil, mixing thoroughly (or add 5 lbs per cubic yard).
¤ Established: lightly mix 1 - 2 Tbsp per gallon into the soil surface once each month during the growing season.
Trees and Shrubs
¤ New trees: prepare transplant hole by mixing 1 - 2 cups into the back fill soil; use the amended soil to fill in around the new tree and water well.
¤ Existing: spread up to 1 - 2 lbs per 2" of trunk diameter around the base outwards to the drip line, mix into soil surface and water well.
Row Crops and Acreage
¤ Apply 500-1,000 lbs per acre depending on specific crop needs or required pounds of actual nutrients per acre.
